Agricultural Implements Manufacturer Switched to Endries for Superior Service and Innovation

Challenge

A prominent manufacturer of agricultural implements for tractors faced service and pricing issues with their fastener supplier. At the end of their contract, their supplier offered them a price reduction to maintain the account in exchange for a contract renewal. Despite the promises made, the manufacturer continued to experience service and pricing issues with their supplier. They required a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system but needed help finding a solution that aligned with their needs. Throughout negotiations with the supplier, Endries International offered their support to the manufacturer. As the supplier continually failed to meet their needs, Endries remained engaged and demonstrated their consistent commitment to service.

Solution

When it was time for the manufacturer to renew their contract with their failing supplier the following year, Endries won the deal by offering solutions that combined competitive pricing and extremely reliable service.

Endries outfitted many of the manufacturer’s facilities by implementing several fulfillment solutions. Endries developed dynamic, tailored VMI approaches for each facility to meet demands. Many of these locations maintained extensive inventories, some with hundreds of parts. Endries utilized various systems, including PULSE RFID, Single and Multi-Bin, Point-of-Use, hybrid, and color-coded bin systems to enhance efficiency. Endries continues their partnership with the manufacturer today and continues to provide exceptional service.
