We source from a global network of ISO 9001 suppliers, and every part is validated against the appropriate standards such as ISO, DIN, ASME, ASTM, SAE, & IFI. We also perform incoming skip-lot inspections in our quality labs, verifying parts to both industry standard QA plans and customer prints. Our environmental team helps ensure compliance with requirements like RoHS and REACH. For any critical applications, Endries can maintain and ship test records with every lot.

Can you provide engineering support to recommend or validate the right fasteners for aluminum housings, sheet metal, and thermal management components in our fixtures?

Yes. Our team partners with you to recommend fastening solutions that reduce weight, improve assembly efficiency, and avoid galvanic corrosion with aluminum and coated steel. We’ve supported lighting OEMs on issues like thread-forming screws for thin sheet metal, rivet selection for thermal sinks, and even plating options for conductivity and durability. We’ll collaborate early so the fasteners aren’t just specified correctly, they’re optimized for cost and performance in your application.

How does Endries support U/L requirements?

Endries collaborates directly with dozens of manufacturers supplying U/L certified components. We also support U/L audits of customer products at our facilities as needed to ensure ongoing compliance.

Do you provide lot traceability and performance testing (tensile, torque, coatings, corrosion resistance) so we can be confident in long-term field performance?

Every part we supply carries lot traceability back to the manufacturing source. We maintain certificates of compliance and test records as required. Our labs have capability to perform torque, torsional, plating thickness, and ISO 17025 accredited tensile testing. We also run salt-spray corrosion testing as needed to validate coating durability or compare finishes to find the most cost-effective option. That way, if there’s ever a quality review, you’ll have full transparency and data on the fasteners used in your products.

What fasteners or components do you supply specific to lighting?

We supply a wide array of lighting component types including safety lanyards, cord connectors, small electrical components, latches, down-rods and canopies, wire clips, and threaded pipe fittings. We can also supply the wire itself, along with terminals, lugs, and the assembly tooling to support it.  We also can kit small components to your specifications to make field installation as simple as possible.
